NASSCOM, a not-for-profit industry association, is the apex body for the 154 billion dollar Indian IT BPM industry.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, referred to NASSCOM as a “revolution”, beyond its time-tested role as an association.

Established in 1988, NASSCOM has relentlessly catalysed the Indian IT BPM industry in its journey towards building an innovation led growth sector, with transformative business models, expanding its value proposition and becoming a partner of choice for global businesses.

    The Japanese government has announced the simplification of visa documents and expansion of scope of applications for multi-entry visas. This was a key concern for the sector as the requirements were onerous earlier including ink signed invitation letters etc. The new process is simple and will enable better business collaboration between India and Japan.

    NASSCOM participated at the Gartner Symposium in Gold Coast with a group of 15 member companies, many of whom were SMEs. An expo, roundtable with CIOs, interaction with Gartner analysts and meetings with digital leaders from Government of Australia helped the delegation members get useful insights, B2B meetings and the opportunity for business expansion in Australia.

    New Delhi, 10th Nov, 2017: The National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) today announced the appointment of Ms. Debjani Ghosh, former MD, Intel South Asia, as the NASSCOM President-Designate, succeeding Mr. R Chandrashekhar, President, NASSCOM upon the completion of his term in March 2018.

    NASSCOM Foundation today announced its partnership with American Express to drive social innovation through NASSCOM Social Innovation Forum, and provide free technology education to young girls utilizing the freely available public library space as training centres.

    NASSCOM Product Council announces the launch of the NASSCOM DeepTech Club wherein curated DeepTech companies  will be recognized, nurtured and promoted by NASSCOM across two segments:

    1. Lab to Incorporation: Pre-revenue DeepTech ventures (which might not even be incorporated yet) will qualify under this segment.

    2. Crossing the Chasm: Ventures already generating revenues (up to 1mn USD p.a.) with their Deep Tech product
